From what Ive been told Tesco do not have inurance on their trucks as such.
they need to have a certain amount of money in the bank to make sure they can cover any claims against them, not sure the exact figure
You need a set amount in a government account iirc. This is how the emergency services are covered. If you were an insurer would you touch the police
