Thanks for the info guys, I passed on the info and the panels are being made as we speak.

Jay the floorpan cannot be any thicker than a few mm as the car has less than a few inches ground clearance. I've used the honeycomb stuff before as I worked for a company doing flat panels for all sorts of companies, we had a machine that would stretch the honeycomb out as it comes as large cube, only interesting part of it for me would be the carbon stuff but that was only once in a blue moon.

I'll let you know how it comes out, not sure I'll bother laquering it yet, will see what it looks like once its out of the oven.
