Hi "foci"
What about the alternator from Burtonpower?

Any thoughts about to use 6-speed gearbox from mazda3 ?

From Sweden scrapyard, think you have them aswell:

got the CSE code/label on them so they should be bolton?

Ford mondeo engine 2.0 CSE engine who have a 6-speed gearbox orginal mounted

This gearbox is from Mazda3 2.3L mps Turbo engine (i think the bolt pattern should also be duratec) 256 HP (190,9 KW) orginal engine torque is 380 N.m (280,4 ib.ft) and it should be perfect for a high tuned cosworth 2.3L ITB duratec engine

and put a TWM Performance Short Shift Kits on that :
http://www.twmperformance.com/shorts...llassembly.htm
Features:
- 31% throw reduction
- 45% throw reduction combined to transmission adapter
- 1.75" height reduction
- 21% side to side throw reduction
- 100% increased rigidity
- Solid base bushings included
- Ball bearing design for smooth operation
- Available in combo with a weighted shift knob

Also put a shift extender on it to get the shifter closer to the steering wheel

Then you go formula racing on all the track days in style

Even if you have the problem whith custom made mounts and shafts etc. it would be awsome when it is over and done.
