They turfed me out until I'd paid up!
Fair enough, rules is rules..

The Mod scene was brilliant in its day, being a total way of life like it shows in "Quadrophenia"
I watched it with my 16 year old son recently, who was gobsmacked by it. "Was it really like that?" "Oh yes, and more.." "Wow, there's nothing like that going on now!"
Just as well some would say!

The scooter thing is just pure escapism. I could just about afford it then, of course I can indulge in it a bit now.
The motor has an MB Developments 196 barrel with modified head and intake using a Dellorto 28mm carb for mid range. Induction kit. It has a 60mm stroked crank and forged piston all balanced. Electronic ignition with an Agusta tuning box. Devtour exhaust. 18bhp and 18 lbs ft torque. In other words, three times the power it left the factory with! Quick enough to seriously annoy Harleys in traffic..
It also has BGM billet shocks and progressive springs.
The result is amazing in terms of how much better it is. I can ride potholes now that would have had me off before, a major advantage!

The mirrors and chrome are just part of the whole thing.
There's a big Vespa/Lambretta thing going on, which is a bit like the needle between Ford/Vauxhall and Subaru/Mitsubishi. Hysterical when you think about it.

The side panels read; WHY DON'T YA ALL F F F... (Roger Daltrey)
Anarchy rules ok..
