It does sound dodgy I know

I can't help but think that a garage as reputable as Ford would miss out such an important detail, even if it was 20 years ago.

Is there any other ways of checking it's legitamacy - aside from certificate for the MOT that Ford would have to of done to put it back on the road, proof of past owners, etc..
