did a job at a student property yesterday and noticed a sad looking landy discovery on the drive...the lad who owned it said he was driving up the motorway and the ign lights came on, then further on the thing ground to a halt...aa man said water pump had gone and threw off the belt, because he carried on driving, it boiled up and heat seized along with head gasket quoted £1600 to put right..been stood since august ...so he sold it to me for £150 i have just put a £25 water pump on it and hey presto it fired up first crack, no smoke/rattles ..perfect

bit long winded i know but chuffed something went right for a change when it comes to my cars!!!

..still taxed and mot'd...perfect snow beast for £175
