Im looking at getting the boy an electric one for xmas, but i dont have a clue about them.

seen some decent tamiya ones for about £80 im considering.
other makes will also be considered

i basically want an easy to use one as he will be 4 in two weeks, off road buggy type that will take some abuse from crashing etc. a spare battery and fast charger.

is it beter to go for a 4x4 one over 2wd for a beginner?

any help, info, where to buy etc will be appreciated.
