if 2WD and correct management, unplug the TPS, this is akin to it being adjusted correctly for closed throttle (Open circuit) if you have it adjusted incorrectly the ECU will assume the driver has taken control and will make no attempt to control the idle.

Basically it's just a case of making sure the TPS relates to the throttle angle, there is no adjustment as such other than making sure the sprung loaded connector on the TPS returns home.

A bad calibration will also cause the boost solenoid to 'click'.

It should be right behind the starter motor, it leaves from a black sheathing, and there is just enough wire leaving it to connect to the two.
