I don't think they should increase the speed limit due to the twattish attitude of english drivers.

You go to Germany and you find decent lane discipline and people move out of the way when someone is travelling quicker behind them. They don't think, "Fuck you, I'm going to sit in the outside lane and I'm doing the speed limit" like the idiots you get over here.

I am English born and bred by the way. I drove down to Plymouth last weekend to see a friend and the amount of wankers I saw on the motorway shocked me. 55mph in the middle lane and when you go to overtake they speed up... Before slowing back down. Wankers driving inches from the back of the car in front when it is raining. Increasing the speed limit will just mean they will be driving inches from the the car in front at a higher speed.

It's a shame really as Germany has shown it can work. It's just the morons on the road over here which make it a bad idea
