Hi Guys,
I've not been on here for probably years
but after some info from people using RS500 style Proalloy intercoolers on 400bhp+ cars - does anyone have records of inlet air temperatures under hard track use, ie. when everything is heatsoaked and steady state.
We have a 1.8T 20V Audi race car with around 440bhp @7600rpm and 1.6bar on GT3071R, and trying to gauge if a Proalloy RS500 core will do be able to keep the inlet temps in the 30's rather than 45-50's (>60 peaks), as we get now with a Forge core intended for a Nissan GTiR Pulsar.
Many thanks for any info!
Cheers
Rich
