And then a question that intrigues me: why the P8? You're L8 seems to run fine.

But OP will need to change MAP sensor regardless, seen as no P8 is going to have a calibration for the 2 bar item, given it was 2.5 to begin with (Unless you get a custom remap), but I totally agree with you re the chip, which I mentioned above.
