The injectors/pump are incredibly fragile, and buying a 'mis-fuelled' TDCI is never ever going to be a cheap option.
I'd check the fault codes and I suspect you'll have P1211, and P0251. If that's the case then unless the car is incredibly clean, it's not going to be worth fixing.
If you have access to another TDCI try swapping over the cam sensor, and also make sure the fuel filter is filled to the brim with fuel just in case that's why it's not starting.
