Got to buy my dad a car, he's 60 and doesn't plan on owning another and has £5K to spend on one.

He's asked me to buy him one, he's test driven a Passat 2L TDi Sport and loves it so left it with me, he doesn't mind if it aint Passat but trusts me to buy him a nice car.

Deisel for econamy as hiim and his new wife probably road trip a lot now.

Idea's please lad's?

I know deisels are OK high milage but don't want a high milage car for him as want low maintinence as it's me who'll be looking after it mechanicly too.
