How I read that was I think you misunderstood rod's point, and its not that he thinks you shouldnt spend so much on an old ford, but more than if you win the lottery you would have more exciting plans as well to focus on instead.

Ie the 16i might be on the list, but surely there should be a mclaren f1 or something in front of it.
