Really should update the story so far!!!
After rolling the car over i only found serious rust in the rear arch and one of the chassis rails was all bent up due to me jacking the car up over the years.
As seen, ive so far had every bit of running gear powdercoated, brand new standard suspension and even a square tailed Gen Ford RS exhaust. All other metals that were yellow have been re zinc passivated.
Ive sourced all new clips washers, rubbers pipes etc etc aswell!! The engine pay was rubbed down by myself, primered and painted in 2k which came out better than fords ever did it.
The brake lines and fuel lines were powdercoated in their respective colours as was the jack and lever bar.
Im intending on getting new callipers, track rod ends and drop links at the weekend so hopefully within a week itll be time to drop it off the jig and try and have a clean up before i see what good painters want to do the respray in the Essex area.
