well i made the prop today, the tube was such a good fit i had to heat it to get the ends in so shrunk into 2" of tube and weldede.

ive had to majorly chop up the caterham cage, not my original plan but its the only way i could see to do it, had to keep my original bar aswell as with the missus sitting in the car we need 37" clearance from base of rear seat which has put the cage like this





it baffles me why dutton made the original roll over bars so low, they are shit wouldnt protect even me and im a short arse lol

i will be adding lots of extra bars in and webbing the 4 joints with 6mm plate that will web through all 3 chassis rails.

the only thing i dont like is how high the cage looks, not much choice though with it where it is i only have 3 inches above my head and thats without a helmet on aswell.

if the other parts arrive it should be driveable in the next fortnight just for a little test
