My brother's Mk2 Mondeo 24V sometimes only starts after 10 - 20 secs of cranking.

I plugged in my OBD Tester and it gave me error code:

• P0320 Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

Is this the Crankshaft position sensor or is there another "engine speed sensor"?
