Hello there. The very first thing you need to do is join your local motorclub. I don't know where you are from but I would imagine your local town/city has one. For rallying you need a non race national B license to start off with. Next, sign up to the british rally forum
www.britishrally.co.uk for help and advice, you also get to know all the dates and stuff for every event that happens in the uk. Its difficult to reccomend a championship without knowing your budget (rallying is ultra expensive), but there are loads to choose from. I think to start off I'd maybe take up a bit of road rallying, as you can use your standard road car (provided its a 4 cylinder with forced induction), but I'd reccomend a sump guard at the very least. If road rallying doesn't sound like your cup of tea, I'd try some simple single venue rallies, just to get the feel of the sport. Best thing to do is go to your local motorclub, get yourself signed up, and talk to competitiors to see about championships and events. Hope that helps, anything else you need to know, just ask, or pm me if you want.
