On a non-saleperson note. My (lenghty and expensive...) experience of S1s is to buy on bodywork condition, followed by paint condition. The oily bits are cheap, readily available and easy to DIY sort. scuttles, wings, chassis, paint etc is an expensive mindfield. And I took 18 months just to get the panels together for my front end
if i have this it will be a long project iv had my s2 8 years so this next one will be with me for many many years also, if i can get this one cheap as chips i dont think i would lose to much on it it,s like the mk2 escort getting rare and super expensive when there rotten
