The reason they are cheap, is because the entire car is shit too.
Slow, nightmare to work at, nightmare to get parts for. Big end bearings fail and parts are impossible to get.
FFS you have to take half the bloody inlet manifold apart just to change the plugs.
And for a V6, they are horrendously slow. You'd be better off fitting a modern turbo diesel
