Don't know if this has been mentioned before but i discovered the other day whilst changing the multi ribbed aux belt on my 4x4 That the tensioner looked familiar. So I thought fuck it I'll take it out and have a look.........


Turns out it's the same as a zetec one!

So if you have a dodgy tensioner on your late spec saff 4x4 or escort cos. ( the one with the big cast bracket on left hand side of engine holding alternator and pas)
You need to get yourself a escort mk5 or mk6 tensioner .
Its exactally the same !
