Lads, been reading many different opinions on the net, on which is the best cossie engine to go for in relation to drifting..

Was thinking of going for a 4x4 block/head/manifold, 2WD Sump and either a T3 or T34 Turbo with T5 Box... Was aiming to build a stage 3 engine.

By The Way...

I have been offered a complete package minus the Turbo from a 1988 2WD Sierra. The price is very keen but it looks to me that the engine broke a timing belt at some stage with the marks on the piston and head.

What would opinions be on this... I have been told that everything is there to rebuild it, am wondering would this be a could buy as i could start from scratch and build it, or should i stay a million miles away from a cossie with these marks on the pistons...
