I use continental sport contact 5's, not found a better tyre yet. Had uniroyal rainsports for a few weeks thought they were awful, way too soft sidewalls so car felt really floaty and handling was all over the shop. Never knew a tyre could make such a difference to the way a car drove!
its amazing just what difference that they do make, a mate of mine put a full set of budgets on his evo VIII fq340 i think he had them on for 3 days and then went and paid out for a decent set because of the complete lack of feeling he felt from the car.. totally unbalanced.. i think that what puts me off going even mid range for any sort of performance car, always gotta to have good tyres and a good set of stoppers!!
