Im doing this conversion now. You can use the passenger side engine mount from the puma box, but need a custom rear gearbox mount and drivers side mount. You can use the IB5+ found in a fiesta ST, its the same box as the puma, same internals, but has a mazda bell housing, and different rear mounting point. Also, you need to get either a focus mk 1 or fiesta st gear stick and cables, as rod shift is not compatable with the ST box. If you use the fiesta engine, you will need a mondeo throttle body as the fiesta one is controlled by the ECU, the mondeo throttle body works off the puma throttle cable. If you use the mondeo engine, the dual mass flywheel needs to be changed to an early mk 2 focus flywheel, or a fiesta flywheel, and an st150 starter motor, as the flywheel is 5mm smaller! Also, all duratecs (the mazda engine), have a returnless fuel system, so you will need to plumb in a return line if you want to keep the puma set up! Thats all i can think of off the top of my head! You can keep standard shafts as you will mount the gearbox in the same place.

For reference, the gearbox mount needs to be 60mm closer to drivers side, thats a centre line distance. Where the torque link open end is, your mounting point needs to be 20mm higher, and 20mm closer towards the engine then the centre of the open end.
