Atmo YB is just a naturally aspirated version of the turbo engine, far from ideal as the engine was never designed to be NA so bits need changing to be suitable, they are strong engines though but I'd have a xe over one any day of the week as their far better suited, I suspect the people that use one are only purists or classed where they have to run a Ford engine as you don't get much for your money.
Pectel T2 is a ecu, on a NA engine most ecu's will do, T2 is expensive and unless you have bundles of money to throw at it I can't see the point in using one, basic MBE would run a atmo YB perfectly, only issue with the Honda engine is that you need to use a ecu that can activate the Vtec although most cheap stuff will happily do that these days.
So anyway I'd be using a Honda S2000 engine personally.
A guy on Turbosport just had his engine dynoed at over 270hp with 170+lb ft
Spec is stock engine, tb's, dry sump, billet flywheel and custom manifold although stock one is very good.
FAR more reliable than anything else for the money, you can keep them on a wet sump but clearance can be a issue as its a tall engine
The other bonus is that most of the engine packages come with a 6 speed box that can actually take high rpm unlike anything that you will bolt to a Yb engine ( or xe etc. )
I priced up every option when I was doing mine and the Honda as a package was several thousand pounds cheaper than similar powered engines but wouldn't suffer from hard use making a much better engine to use long term.
