I'm fit at the moment becuase I have to be, buts it's not distance that matters, it's the time you cover the distance in in fact, longer runs are easier. I've ran slow 13 mile half marathons after work on a Tuesday before now just to put mileage on my legs, but feel much, much tireder running say the 5 mile wood tracks like last night or the 2 mile in under 12 minutes. People think that's easy when you tell them, trust me, it's not
