Dingla, I have looked at your build thread and reveals further the way in which you have mounted your top mounts, you've had the 10mm plate relieved 5mm on the back side (essentially underneath) the plate to house the top mount into..this pic shows it better..






So the aluminium top mount fits snuggly underneath and this prevents it moving about...neat idea, even doing that though i would personally start by having my 10mm plate cut out using a water jet...then finish the piece in the lathe to get the pocket for the top mount....

All the top mounts we fit are mounted from above and consist of a plate with nuts tigged to the underside, the top mount then bolts from above...we have to do it this way as the proflex suspension is built to enter the car from above and we regularly have to remove them for the spring exchanges and service/maintenance of the units...we could never achieve this from beneath...

I certainly wasn't trying to provoke you, just trying to offer a more cost effective alternative...
