Lads I was only offering an acurate and quick way to produce the weld on rings for the shell...not the top mount itself, McGoo says he has the top mounts themself in the first post. All parts of this type which we weld into the cars we build are water jet rather than profiling them on a milling machine, water jet is fast and of low cost...for me to have to mild steel rings like the ones in the top pic would be about £10.00.
i agree its by far the cheapest way is water jet i got all my profiles that way
