I think that something between 42 and 49 is the ideal for mk1 focus. ST170 wheels are 215/45/17 7J with 49 offset.
37 offset means that the whole wheel moves to the arch for 12 mm comparing to the ST 170 wheels...so i believe that you are gonna catch the arches with lots of rubbing...
Google it a little more and see if someone used these dimensions.
