The engines certainly arent perfect. More failures are down to poor maintenance than anything. And even at 40k, many dealers dont even put proper oil into the engines. So it isnt really surprising some fail.

But Ford mechanics earn their living repairing Fords. Mitsubishi mechanics earn their living repairing Mitsubishis. French mechanics need their heads examined.
