Default 2006 Ford Fiesta ST ABS problem

I am having a serious headache trying to get my car fixed, having not driven my car for a month due to a broken leg i got in it the other day and discovered the whole dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree, The ABS light, Engine light, handbrake light and a funny cog with and '!' inside are all on!

I took it to 4 different garages and they all come back and told me that there computer couldn't access the ABS system! The last garage has done a number of test on the ABS module and pump, hey have suggested that this is the problem and they both need replacing. I contacted Ford and they have told me it will be £765 for part No.4S61/2M110/BC. Not wanting to pay that much, I contacted a local car breakers and they have a 2005 ford fiesta ST but with the part No. 4S61/2M110/CC for £100.

A local Ford garage have suggested that his would be OK to fit to my car because the last 2 letters only indicate the year of manufacture!

Could someone please help me as I don't want to waist my money on a part that might not even fit.

Many Regards JayG
