Drove a Phase 1 from Bath to Crail and back a few years ago. I nearly lots it within 5 mins of getting into it in the middle of Bath centre! Proper twitchy bastards. Then nearly lost it again coming off the sliproad from a service station. It never felt stable at speed, and was kinda terrifying the whole time. As said a regular standard 172 would destroy it down a country lane, as they don't inspire confidence at all.

The steering lock is a complete joke too.

In its defence, it looked the part, sounded ace, and there was a real sense of occasion about it, which few standard cars have.

Never driven a Phase 2, but by all accounts they are a lot better.
