thats the problem right there, veg oil isnt the same viscosity as diesel, passenger vehicles do not have the ability to heat their fuel supply, and if it is used (esterifcation makes it run better) it wont be clean.
HD vehicles will run on pretty much anything (i work for a major HD FIE manufacturer) running the engine test department.
i just don't believe the gain outweighs the risk
