so you just have a rim, a tyre, throw a load of lighter fuel over them both and chuck on a match??

doesnt the tyre have to be on the rim for that to work lol

no, its the fuckers fitting tyre you supply that costs a lot!

i know as i had a set fitted for combe in july and got fleeced!
they quoted me £10 a tyre to fit, x 5 tyres...

then decided not to charge me that it ended up double. and i was not fucking happy...

in july this year i took my puma on track at rs combe, bought a set of 4 tyres off ebay and got quoted a price of £10 per wheel to have the tyres fitted. i said while they were doing it to change the tyre off the spare steelie as that was fucked and replace with the best of the p6000 they took off.

so i was expecting a bill of £50

i go back to collect the car later that day to be told that he decided not to charge £10 per wheel, and that they had charged me an hour labour, plus £5 a wheel balancing - plus VAT = just short of £100.

i was then pretty fucked off having received no phone call to tell me that this is what they were now going to do, felt fleeced and will not be using them again for anything...

so ill DIY thanks!

in future i will endevour to do as much as i can myself, not paying some silly cunt to rip me off

as they will only be going on if it snows i may not even bother to balance them as i wont be going fast!

as low speeds will be used while driving in snow, balancing may not be required as i wont be going fast enough to cause any issues

understand now?????

good!
