set the vernier to zero, on the head there is a dot directly above the cam, put the timing mark on the pulley to this, on the lower pulley is a groovd line this up with the largest of the three points on the timing cover, lever the tensioner over but not too hard an tighten it checking nothins moved, turn the engine 2 revolutins by hand and check again, if all is still good it will be fine, be warned tho yo may need a timng light for the distrubter if you have moved it
