Ask if the water pump has been changed. They have a plastic impeler which snaps. You can replace these with a metal impeler pump. There a easy job to do.
It's not such a big deal on 200s, especially the later ones, as they had stronger impellers. It only really seems to affect the earlier cars from what I can gather. It's still a sensible mod however!
