It is the ECU that completes the circuit, via the EARTH connection. Plus the inertia switch will cut the power in the event of an accident

I understand that but the rewire kit does not go to the ECU. It merely is a simple way of running a live feed from the battery and uses the old fuel pump loom to switch it on and prime if that makes sense lol
