I am a student in mechanical engineering and going to graduate (hopefully) next year. I am using a CAD software called CATIA V5 from DASSAULT SYSTEMES since 2 years and have done already few projects for my school, and for me personally.

I want to offer my services to make 3D models out of real parts that may need a reproduction.

I know for example that MK MOTORSPORT does repro of 909 parts. I do not intend to do this, but just to make 3D models. It is then easy to use a software such as MASTERCAM and have the parts made by CN machines. What you will get is the CATpart file and depending on the part and the time I have some 2D technical drawings.

Of course I would not ask for any money for this, I just want to gain experience, share my abilities to work with CAD and help people. What you would have to do is to send the part, and give some money for the shipping of the part back to you.

I live in Switzerland so depending on the part it may cost some quids but as I'm working for free, I think you'll get back what you pay for in the shipment. Nothing forces you to trust in me, but I've had some sales and buying experience there with some pf members and I think everything went fine every time and I've personally meet few of them as well and I don't think someone can say I'm some kind of bad person.
