Easiest setup you could do is connect actuator onto the turbo compressor via a vacuum hose, loosen the 11mm nut on the actuator, unhook it from the turbo and note tension, did it spring off or was it just fairly slack? Adjust the actuator rod until it just needs pulled slightly and hooked back onto the wastegate...standard boost is 7psi, standard boos tlimit is 10psi, your ECU must be chipped as it exceeded 10psi and didn't hit the boost limiter as it rose to 25psi and dropped to 15.

if you want the standard amal valve setup, makesure all the hoses are in the right order, and do as I said above with the actuator, there is no real BENEFIT of running the amal valve but if it works then theres certainly no harm in using it.
