you need a C4 auto, these are the same family as the ones behind the ford V8's and can be tricked up but only 3 speed
Belhousing will be a rare item from a 1970's granada / consul which is the only time fords put a pinto block on a C4 gearbox, apart from in the states they used them in the capri (think they were 2.3 though)

I have a 4speed auto on mine from a cosworth scorpio but only 230hp works great
