Enclosed induction kits and cold air feeds where's yours?????
I'm going to put a closed cold air induction kit on my Mondeo Td and was wondering where you've put the cold air feeds and results you've had, I'm thinking of getting the duct to the grill so it suck in air from the front of the car the only draw back I can think of is water intake from big puddles and rain, is this going to be an issue with mounting it on the grill ESP with it being an enclosed filter as I can't see anyway of the water getting out apart from being run through the engine
Iv seen many a cossy with the inside morrette light taken out and cold air feed put in from there but if it's not enclosed then obviously any water from there would be just dropped inside the engine bay with maybe only a little getting onto the filter element
So has anyone ever experienced problems with water and drawing cold air from the front of the car??
Last resort would be hiding the intake in the wheel arch like the standard one but would be slightly more beneficial coming straight from the front of the car wouldn't it???
