I would disagree with your opinion as alot more gets repaired at the roadside that most people know, temp repairs are carried out on a day to day basis and they do carry some spares, also collect and fit parts from various places. Just my opinion

AA or RAC would be the best option, both are the very similar, AA is a bit more advanced but it depends on where the Patrols are free and located for waiting times etc, sometimes it can be just luck if you beakdown near a patrol and the waiting time is not very long
