Hello all.
I'm new to the forum and I am currently saving to get a mk2 escort.
In the meantime ive been buying parts , just the usual stuff , lowering blocks etc but I'm now coming to the interior and I have in my mind what I want the interior to look like.
I'm looking at buying some rs recaro seats from a escort turbo , but does anyone know if they will fit the mk2 floor bolt pattern.
I'm looking at getting the interior completely reupholstered so it all matches.
Also , if I buy a four door , how easy is it to turn it into a two door.....weld the rear doors and filler?

wouldnt bother changing it to a 2door, would ruin a 4 door escort and wouldnt look very good as youd have small doors up front so will look out of proportion, and then youll have to do custom doorcards etc on the inside.... itd be a pain in the arse and not worth doing
just save your money, be patient and a 2 door will turn up
but 4doors can be made to look just as good.... sometimes better
