You say it crunches if you change normally but goes in fine if you coast for a second or two, giving the engine revs a chance to drop, aka the 'box to slow down too, I'd say the syncro's are worn.

The clutch lines may have needed bleeding but driving around with it not clearing fully could have shagged the syncro's, hence the fault no going when you bled it..
