Hello people just had the head rebuilt on my 2wd cossie , had new cams , springs etc !
Got it all up and running a couple of weeks back now and booked in for re map next week so I thought I would start her up.
After about five mins it made a clicking sound and died straight away !
I looked under the bonnet and found my inlet pully has come loose and the belt moved back towards the head and was rubbing on it , which would be the clicking sound. You can see where the paint has come off !
Checked all the timing marks they are all in the right place and the belt is still tight !
Is it worth tryin to start it or is it a head off job ? Don't really want to do this as it is a brand new and has all ready cost £2500 so any help would be apperated
