Sounds like it's been tuned then.
You need to get a boost gauge, bring the wastegate down/up so it's running ~18psi and fiddle with the fueling until you get minimal smoke. After that advance the pump until it sounds rough, and then retard it bit by bit until it sounds ok again. By running the pump in the utmost advaced position without it predetonating will help cold starting and general running
