Pretty common mate, just poor materials usually, depends whats moved but inspection will usually show it up. Sometimes its just a twist and once reset never happens again but just makes sure you operating angle is still inear and your not now trying to push the pin itself instead of the arm, if that even makes any sense?
What i am getting at is the operating angle will now have changed as the rest position has been altered.
