i would say looks wise its a good idea to decide which way you want to go and stick with it, meaning if you want it to look standard like a sleeper then maybe go 15" steels and try conceal the exhaust a bit, they can look just as good as a car with spoilers etc with alot less work.
once i fitted alloys / rs bonnet and roll cage i decided mine looked too modified to be a sleeper so carried on going with it.
engine looks good, was the mouning the same?
Thanks mate, it was always destined to look slightly modded, and personally dont like steels, bigger ones included. Even the exhaust is quite subtle i think. I actually had a black 1/2 cage in but sold it as didnt want to drill the floor!
I like to think of it as the 'South London' look - lowered on period wheels, all one colour with something interesting under the bonnet
Mounting was very similar but needed to do a very small mod to the chassis to get the mount lining up.
