Hello PassionFord, I have a question about offsets and wheel fitment.

I have a set of 8x17 4x108 alloy wheels that I would like to use on a mk2 mondeo. After some googling I found this info-


CAR -Mondeo
YEAR-1993-200
OFFSET 35-42
CENTRE BORE 63.4



The wheels I want to use have an offset of 22mm. I'm not all that clued up on wheels and offsets so what would the outcome be of me fitting the wheels I have? Are they likely to stick out past the arches or rub on the inner arches? They are fitted with 205/40x17 tyres if that makes any difference?
