the best advise i can give you is to whip the sump and head off and have a look at what the problem is. Otherwise, IMO, you've got to give someone an incentive to buy it with the problem.
people buying as it is will be taking a risk, would you buy your engine for £1500 with that problem?
i dont mean to come across as being harsh or anything, just being realistic
